I had the pleasure of planning a retirement gathering for a couple of co-workers last month at Plates Café and I must say it was a great experience. The ladies at Plates took all the stress away. Tina, my partner, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with the women there and they gave great service. I commend the ladies for being positive in their work and as far as giving and working in the community, there could not be a better way. It is a win-win situation! They were polite, hard working and seem to be on a mission to please everyone! And they did all of it with smiles on their faces. Also, my compliments to the chef because those stuffed mushrooms were the “bomb”!
Ladies you are wonderful and keep up the great work!

On December 7, 2010, our department held its annual winter holiday breakfast meeting at Plates Café. We collaborate with many local non-profit partners, and felt that supporting Plates was important. David Lose, the business manager, helped us come up with a delicious menu that was fresh, satisfying, and affordable for our staff. The sunny banquet room was decorated for the holidays, and we enjoyed a very pleasant morning. We would recommend Plates for any private or corporate event.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for an incredible job and eating experience we had last month at our Christmas luncheon. Your catering staff prepared one of the most delicious meals we have experienced at our company events and the portions were very generous! The food was delivered, setup and prepared for our event on time and your staff was very efficient and courteous. I also asked them to share some insight into your Charity and restaurant with our office staff which your staff did graciously. Everyone was touched by your program and how committed everyone is to helping others in need. We then ate and ate and ate and enjoyed a wonderful meal! All in all the experience was outstanding and I’m sure to be repeated next year!!

“We couldn’t be happier with the annual Employee Holiday Party we held at Plates! In the spirit of giving back to our community, we chose Plates as our event location because we support its mission and vision. The result was not only a meaningful party, but an extremely enjoyable event punctuated by excellent food, professional staff and attentive service. We would host another event at Plates and encourage others to do so as well.”

During the month of October, Kaiser Permanente recognizes the contributions of our Medical Assistants and Technicians. We were delighted to have Plates Café cater these events for us. The food was absolutely delicious! I have used Plates Café many times since and they can always be counted on for delivering on time, pleasant staff and professional presentation. What I like most about using Plates Café is being able to share with our employee what Plates Café is all about. I encourage you to use Plates Café for your next catering event and support this wonderful non-profit program.

It is my pleasure to recommend Plates Café for your next meeting. We had the opportunity to meet at Plates Café several times and have been very pleased with both the staff and the accommodations. David Lose, the business manager, is professional and a pleasure to work with. His suggestions on room set up and refreshments are always on the mark, and the hostesses that have served us at each event have been accommodating and delightful. In October of 2010, we held our annual, day long, board retreat at Plates, in which a continental breakfast, a full lunch and afternoon snacks were provided. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed.
I would highly recommend using Plates Café as your next meeting place.
