David graduated from UC Davis with a Communication and Community and Regional Development Degree in 2007. He was previously the Catering Coordinator at MacArthur Park in Palo Alto. MacArthur Park was a highly visible Catering division in the Bay Area. He has worked in the restaurant industry since 2001. David Joined St. John's in May 2010 after previously working at Mason's restaurant in Downtown Sacramento. His passion for the industry, along with his compassion, have enabled him to embrace the opportunity to provide formerly homeless women with children the skills and the experience to gain and maintain employment in the restaurant industry.

Stu is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of American and has been in the industry for 30 years. He knew in his 8^th grade cooking class he wanted to be a chef. He has worked in both San Francisco and Sacramento, including the California Café, River City Brewing Company, Esquire Grill and Culinary Specialists. Teaching has always been the next step for Stu and he relishes the opportunity to enrich the lives of the women of St. Johns Shelter.
